In November 2011 Uruguay will host the 10th World Congress of Perinatal Medicine.

As President of Uruguay I am pleased that our country receives each year more of these important events.

Offering our Uruguay as destination for World and International Congresses, Conferences and Seminars has been for several years a State policy in our country.

This policy is based on the continuous official promotion and counts on the efforts of the private sector.

Our country is chosen mostly due to the beauties of our land and the courtesy of our people.
